Styrene Monomer

Styrene Monomer is the main material for producing polystyrene and ABS Resins.
  • Styrene monomer is made from benzene and ethylene . Production process is divided into two steps. The first step is benzene alkylation by Mobil/Badger process to produce intermediate product ,ethylbenzene, which, then, is further dehydrogenated to styrene monomer by Fina/Badger processs.
